General Purpose:
Credit Analyst 2 REBATES: primarily builds WEX funded and EFS rebates
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
The Credit Analyst position is a fast-paced, deadline driven role that requires an individual with strong attention to detail as well as excellent excel skills and one who embraces change. The Analyst must be able to produce quality work in a production and metric driven department and must have both excellent technical skills as well as intuition to make independent decisions that appropriately manage the rebate portfolio. The Credit Analyst must be comfortable making complex decisions with little information and presenting difficult information to stakeholders. This person must have a good ability to think outside the box and devise innovative solutions to issues and process efficiencies.
Minimum Required Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor's degree and two to three plus years work experience in a related field
Intermediate to advanced account reconciliation and auditing skills
Intermediate accounting knowledge
Analytical and problem solving skills
Intermediate to advanced computer software literacy (word, excel, access, outlook, Power Point)
Detail oriented
Organizational/Time Management ability
Strong customer service and leadership skills
Effective oral and written communication skills
Sound decision making/judgment
Team oriented

Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, accounting or related field preferred
SOX SSAE 16 experience
Strong negotiation skills

Comfortable researching an interpreting complex contract language
Ability to identify opportunities to improve performance and efficiencies within department and self

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
