This part time position is located in Portland, ME.
Position Summary
Support the manager, financial services in recruiting and general administrative functions. No licenses, appointments or registrations are required. Specific duties and functions are determined by the manager, financial services in accordance with company policy.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Recruiting
o Track candidates, update pipeline reports
o Administer candidate testing
o Pull resumes from CareerBuilder, Monster, etc. for the manager to review
o Schedule recruiting appointments for the manager - call and set appointments with candidates
o Support the manager with recruiting fairs by handling logistics, scheduling venues, sending invitations, sending follow up letters, etc.
Administration
o Maintain the manager's calendar
o Collect client files for the MFS to review
o Update computer and software
Property and Casualty (P&C) Functions
May be performed if the Marketing Associate is P&C licensed and appointed with sponsored carrier and has completed all communicated requirements.
Includes:
o Write P&C business for the manager
o Run P&C quote, order necessary reports, complete and sign application
o Follow up with P&C policy delivery
o Service P&C book of business, including making changes to enforce policies
o Order and be able to explain MVRs and Comprehensive Loss Underwriting Extracts CLUE reports
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Needed
o Client Service skills
o Initiative
o Organizational and time management skills
o Interpersonal and communications skills
o Ability to prioritize work in a busy environment
o Demonstrated ability to work with confidential information
o Ability to work in a team environment
o Familiarity with Microsoft applications, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
o Demonstrated ability to continuously learn
Experience
o One to three years business experience needed, preferably in the Financial Services industry
Education
o High School or equivalent
