Job Description
Acts as a key resource to assigned LOBs by developing and maintaining relevant and meaningful Activity Based Costing (ABC) data
Serves as the key individual that leads or supports assigned LOB costing study projects, which include, but are not limited to, the development and execution of survey methodologies, the analysis and calculation of unit times and costs, and the update and testing of related databases
Performs research and monthly reviews of LOB expenses, FTEs and cost allocations for purposes of ongoing rate maintenance and impact analysis
Consistently monitors LOB organizational and product changes as well as other changes that may impact LOB cost allocations
Identifies potential opportunities to improve and enhance current costing methodologies and operational efficiencies
Develops and maintains effective business relationships with the Finance Analysts that support assigned LOBs
Assists in the preparation of materials used to deliver ABC results and participates in the presentations of results to Senior and Executive Management
Creates ad-hoc reports and other analyses as assigned
Job Requirements
Conducts structured, one-off and/or routine financial analysis as it applies to area of responsibility
Understands the finance function and the key business supported
Focus is on component of results (e.g., Expenses, Analysis, Revenue, Volumes) or on complete results for a small and/or low complexity business
May provide financial, analytical, planning, and forecasting expertise to assist in the development and completion of projects
May develop specialized analytical tools for project or ongoing use
Assists more experienced staff in and provides support for developing more complex analyses
Bachelor's degree or progressive work experience in addition to experience below
3-5 years related experience required
Strong interpersonal and consultative communication skills
Ability to manage competing priorities effectively, making good decisions based on business priorities and objectives

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
