58 commensurate with the agreement between the MCCS Trustees and the MEA Administrators Unit Level II pending classification.

Responsibilities:
The Data Analyst assists in collecting and reporting data necessary for self-assessment, planning, and academic and administrative decision-making.
The position is responsible for assisting the Senior Data Manager in the preparation of Federal, State and Institutional data reports and requirements on behalf of the college.
The Data Analyst measures program effectiveness; prepares data for and contributes to preparation of a variety of reports for internal and external partners.
Completes data accuracy and data integrity projects.
Develops and conducts survey research in response to institutional needs; provides training and data support to key college leaders; and responds to all ad hoc requests for information.
The position also provides support to the Senior Data Manager and performs other research and planning duties as assigned.
MINIMUM
Qualifications:
Associates Degree in Mathematics/Data Analytics/IT or related fields Experience in a Higher Education environment PREFERRED
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in related field Knowledge of JenzabarJl (student information system) Experience in program assessment, review and evaluation KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Two years of experience preparing, assessing and managing educational data sets and reporting responsibilities, preferably in a higher education setting Competency in SQL, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and student information systems, preferably Jenzabar Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure Attention to detail Accurate and thorough work Ability to perform at the highest level of accountability in a complex working environment SMCC is an Equal Opportunity employer.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
