Dr.
Krithivas (Dr.
K) is the owner of Harbor View Eye Care - a 45-year-old optometry practice in South Portland.
We are looking for a responsible and meticulous individual to be a medical assistant/technician in our busy eye care practice.
Our doctors, vision therapists, opticians, technicians, front desk staff, and billing staff work together as a congenial team.
Our goal is to provide the best eye care for our patients as we enjoy our time together as a staff.
We take great pride in providing a work environment that is warm and friendly.
Specific duties include but are not limited to:
taking medical history, vision testing, operating various optometry equipment, answering phones, making appointments, and other general office tasks.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
