Our program homes are all located in Cumberland County.
We are looking for a Nurse (RN) to join our team.
The candidate will provide supervision of residential staff to ensure that clients receive appropriate treatment and services and that such is documented in accordance with agency policy and regulatory standards.
The candidate will work closely with program staff, providing consultation on medical and medication administration issues, including quality assurance, policy review and development, adherence to CRMA rules, and collaboration with other providers as needed.
There will be some travel to residences in the Greater Portland area.
Job functions include client treatment coordination, development of drug control procedures, environmental health, and oversight of residential program medication-related services and medical records.
The Nurse Practitioner (RN) will provide staff training for CRMA certification, for diabetes and seizure procedure, and other medical/ health related training as needed.
Other duties may be assigned in accordance with overall program goals.
REQUIREMENTS Candidates must be licensed as a Registered Professional Nurse (RN) by the Maine State board of Nursing.
Nursing experience in a behavioral health or mental health setting is preferred.
Certified as a CRMA instructor/ or willing to be trained Excellent communication skills.
Working knowledge of health care laws and regulations.
Knowledge of Therap documentation systems preferred.

00 Monday - Friday.
You may be called occasionally on weekends to provide phone consultation if there is an emergency.
